These would make a great Father’s Day gift!
From Our Friends at Sky Blue Outfitters
Manatawny Creek, very spotty March Browns. Caddis and Spinners in the evening. Sulphurs have started and more and more around every day. Still spotty on the creek. Need to be in the right place.
Tulpehocken is having good hatches of FISHERMEN, Caddis and Midges. Streamers are working.
Lehigh doing just fine. Photos above show that the big ones are sipping. Hatches are picking up. Gorge fishing has been good with Streamers and March Browns. Hang on if you hook something, current.
Delaware River is living up to its names. Hendricksons and Caddis. Streamers on the banks are doing pretty good.
March Browns, Caddis and Black Quills are on the deck. Sulphurs, I saw a few this week guiding, will show up soon. Spinners at night.
From Sky Blue Outfitters
Rain did not bring up the flows.|
Hendrickson hatch is over. Caddis and Spinners. Sulphurs next.
Lehigh was in good shape with dry fly fishing good.
The rain brought up the flow yesterday.
Was going to fish on the Delaware Monday but we cancelled, high flows and water on the cool side.
Streams are still being stocked.
Broadhead, Lackawaxen and Lackawanna are running high.
If you go, Streamers.
Warm Water Bass, Pike and Muskie
Water is back down to normal for this time of year.
Bugs have started and it is time to go fish!
Nymphing is productive and keep your eye out for rising fish and see whats in the air,.
Grannoms, Hendrickson (ending), Quill Gordon, Spinners, Black Quills.
SKY BLUE days are the best, get the bugs moving.
Susquehanna is high.
Water is up right now and we needed the rain. The Lehigh will start fishing good once the
water comes down. SEPA stocked streams are open. High water and weather kept the bait
guy count to a minimum. The high water kept the stocked fish off the stringer. Look for
Hendrickson as soon as the water drops and we get a few days of sun. More rain on the way,
my thoughts, the more the better. Water was low all fall and winter and we need a good
amount to get caught up to normal. Manny, Tully are the streams to fish right now. Check
out the smaller ones, they will clear up faster. Tully is releasing…
